The thumb of one of the small guardian figures has an old break, and is now softened to a short stub. There are square indents to the underside of the guardian figures, likely for attaching the guardians to another group of statues. The seated figure of pensive Maitreiya has light surface wear throughout, the gilt-bronze is tarnished to some areas, predominantly on the back.
