with a straight foot and flared rim, decorated in underglaze red on the white ground with five phoenix, the interior similarly centred with a phoenix roundel, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character seal mark
Condition
The bowl is in overall very good condition. The rim is slightly abrasive, suggesting it may have been polished down to conceal an earlier flake.
