with deep rounded sides and a flared rim, set with two openwork dragon handles, the sides incised with two lobed panels enclosing scenes of animals and flora, the domed cover similarly decorated with two panels of insects and plants and surmounted by a finial of a coiled dragon, the base with an apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, wood stand
Condition
There is a small chip to one handle where the dragon's tail bifurcates. The edge of the cover has a restored chip, approx. 0.9 cm. With some minute nibbling around the foot.
