the base frame of the rectangular carry box constructed with two transverse stretchers, set with a humpback-shaped handle flanked by openwork spandrels, the interior of the top tier with a shallow tray, the cover centred with an opening on each short side aligned with an opening on the upright to house a long metal rod, the corners of the box and handle mounted with baitong plates
Condition
Some elements of the box are later replacements including the lower tiers and the reticulated dragon sprandles flanking the arched handle. Otherwise he box is generally in good condition.
