the kendi with a globular body and cylindrical neck, set to the shoulder with a dragon head spout, moulded around the exterior with pine, plum blossoms, magnolia and narcissus flowers, the neck with another flowering branch between pendent blades and ruyi heads; the other vessel of tapering square section, each side crisply moulded with a lobed cartouche enclosing two four-clawed dragons, their arms outstretched and contesting a 'flaming pearl' against a diapered ground
Condition
Vase:There are minor dents to the surface. There are also cracks, especially to one corner of the shoulder, as well insignificant flakes to the foot. Kendi: there are extensive chips to the foot and minor chips to the mouth. There is also other general surface wear.
