with angled everted sides and a lobed rim divided in four bracket foliations, boldly painted on the interior with a flying bird and flower rendered in brown and dark green brush strokes, the cavetto and rim similarly outlined with four petal panels, applied overall save for the foot with a pale brown glaze

There are flakes to the coloured glaze outlining the birds and petal panels on the rim, consistent with the type and as visible on the photo. the glaze is partly flaking as well, predominantly near the rim on the underside. There are further expected glaze gaps and firing imperfections.
