the translucent stone carved on one side in the form of a bamboo shoot with the red skin of the stone reserved and depicting a lone bird perched on a flowering branch in low relief, an aperture pierced through the upper centre for threading a beaded string
Condition
The pendant is in overall good condition with just surface wear and small nicks to the extremities as can be expected, including the tips of the branches and a petal of the flower. There are also minor nicks to the bottom edge of the pendant. The lower 'node' on underside may have been polished down to conceal an earlier nick.
