釋文：東坡先生書深得徐季海骨力，此為文湖州洋嶼詩帖，予少時學之，今猶能寫，或微有合處耳。米元章嘗奉道君詔，作小楷千字，欲如黃庭體。米自跋 云：「少學顏行，至於小楷，了不留意。」蓋宋人書多以平原為宗，如山谷、東坡是也。唯蔡君謨少變耳。吾嘗評米書，以為宋朝第一，畢竟出東坡之上。山谷直以品勝，然非專門名家也。楊景度書，自顏尚書、懷素得筆。而溢為奇怪，無五代衰薾之氣。宋蘇、黃、米皆宗之。書譜曰：「既得正平，須追險絕，景度之謂也。」古人論書，以章法為一大事。蓋所謂行間茂密是也。予見米癡小楷，作西園雅習圖記，是紈扇，其直如弦。此必非有他道，乃平日留意章法耳。

Signs of paper losses and tears can be found througout the calligraphy, which have been improved by restoration. Stains can also be found. Otherwise, it is in overall fair condition.
