the first carved with an uneven knotty surface and gnarls to simulate a segment of a burlwood tree trunk, the second of cylindrical form, the plain surface well figured by natural wood grains
Condition
Both brushpot is in overall good condition with some expected age cracks. The surfaces are quite dry. The left one also has some chips to the extremities. Its base plug appears to be a later replacement.
