the first in the form of two melons with polychrome details of a moth and butterflies flying among flowering vines; the second of two gourds bursting with seeds, with a mantis perched on a leaf among flowers
Condition
One tip of the gourd box's cover has been restored. The overall conditions of both boxes are otherwise quite good, with the exception of some expected chips to the rims and extremities, age cracks and rubbing to the gilding.
