cast in the form of a craggy mountain top with three peaks highlighted with small tufts of grass, a monkey sitting atop the central summit, flanked by birds on both sides, a recumbent goat resting at the foot of the mountain, the underside and back of the summit pierced with a hole, the patina of a warm brown colour with traces of gilding
Condition
The base has an old repair to the cast, in addition to two original holes (one filled in). There are a couple more perforations to the central peak, but except for an approx. 0.6 cm repaired opening to the reverse, some minor dents, rubbing to the gilding and expected oxidation, the overall condition is quite good.
