finely potted with slightly rounded conical sides rising from a countersunk base to a lobed rim divided into five lobes, the walls correspondingly divided into five lobes by small pinched notches on the interior, covered overall save for the unglazed rim and footring with a greyish celadon-green glaze, the walls suffused with a fine network of dense crackles

The overall condition is very good, except for some expected surface wear and light scratches. There are also some minor original potting and firing irregularities, including a dent to the body and a few associated firing crackles to the footring. The actual bowl is of a somewhat deeper muted olive tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
