董欣賓（1939-2002），江蘇無錫人。一九五三年拜名家秦古柳為師學習傳統中國畫， 一九七九年考入南京藝術學院，師從劉海粟先生。一九八二年畢業。著作有《欣賓畫集》、《中國畫對偶範疇論》、《六法生態論》等。

董欣賓先生是“新文人畫”的奠基人，在我眼裡，他也是一個當代藝術家……董先生的這些松樹，造型突破傳統文人畫模式的挺拔，著重於扭曲和抗爭力量的對比，可以看出董先生人生處境的自喻，尤其是線的表現力，是他單獨取出的因素這對後來新文人畫的發展，造成深刻的影響。
