Condition
The robe is lined with turquoise blue silk. There are losses to the cuffs on both sleeves of the robe, the largest ca. 2x2cm, and fraying along the seams of both cuffs. There is fraying and there are minor losses to the textile around the collar of the robe. The reddish-brown of the upper part of the back and left side of the robe is a slightly lighter tone than the rest of the red. There are black characters xin cheng ming yuan tian shisi 心成明元天十四 are inscribed in black ink on the inside collar.
