Condition
The figure is finely and heavily cast, the mandorla cast separately, the opening in the base sealed with a partially lose copper plaque revealing scrolls inside. The figure is in very good overall condition with the exception of one point of the crown that is chipped. There is light overall wear to the gilding which is covered with dirt. The vase in his hands missing as visible on the catalogue illustration.
