Condition
The vase on the right in the catalogue illustration is in goodoverall condition, with fresh gilding. There is a ca. 1.2 cm glaze chip on the edge of the foot. There are some pinpoint firing imperfections scattered on the foot and around the lower part of the body. There is a ca. 1 x 1 cm scratched area on the body.
The vase on the left in the catalogue illustration has a ca. 6 cm crack with an associated hairline starting ca. 1.5 cm from the rim and extending ca. 2 cm diagonally. The gilding is worn on the bulging part of the neck and body, and may have been repainted on the neck, foot and diaper-ground band on the lower part of the neck.
Both vases have traces of dried glue on the base.
