- Wood
debout sur un socle lotiforme, portant une robe plissée aux larges manches, coifée d'un haut chignon derrière une couronne figurant une petite effigie de divinité
Condition
Part of the lotus base to the figure's left side is made from a separate piece of wood and may be a later addition. The figure itself is carved from a single piece of wood. There are vertical cracks running through the wood and overall losses to the wood. The top knot of hair and a ca. 3.5x5cm large fragment/flake of wood on the left hand side of the back of the head have been broken off in the past and reattached. There are traces of gilding on a lacquer surface visible on the face, ears and neck of the figure. The letters P.26a are written in red on the lower back of the figure.
