Condition
Both deer are in overall good condition. They are made of gilt copper sheets of metal that were joined and there is overall wear to the gilding along the looting lines. There are minor dents and bruises to the surface on both deer. Both deer have a cavity to the belly that has been sealed with a rectangular gilt-copper plaque. There are traces of white pigment to the eyes.
