Both bowl and associated cover are in overall good condition. There are three darker natural inclusions in the stone near the base of the bowl extending into the foot where a ca. 1cm wide flaw on the foot is slightly polished. Calcified natural veins running across the stone on the associated cover. The stone of the cover is of a paler tone than the more celadon tone of the bowl. The design is well carved, particularly the openwork of the handle.
