Condition
The painting was examined outside of the frame. The painting was layed on paper and was mounted. There are vertical cracks in the silk scattered across the right hand side of the painting and along the lower edge of the painting and to the centre of the painting, some of them have been backed (Some cracks visible in the catalogue illustration). There is an area of loss/wear to the silk along the arrow of the single figure. There are small areas with losses of pigment to the white jacket of the 3rd figure on the left and to the trousers of the single figure on the far left. There is overall wear to the silk painting.
