Condition
Movement running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
Case in very good condition with no signs of polish. With wear to the edges, slight scratches to the lugs. Dial in good condition. With some minor scratches to the crystal at 10 and 3 o'clock. Original bracelet in good condition.

The present watch was made upon special order for the Minister of Finance of Saudi Arabia. 50 such pieces were made to celebrate Faisal's new role as prime minister. In 1964, he would be crowned King of Saudi Arabia.
It is interesting to note that the present model is not signed on the dial, and instead bears a signature only on the case back. This was done out of respect for Prince Faisal and the Saud family, so his image and the family name would not have to share space with the maker's name.
