皇室御用毛刺紅豆杉木鑲鎏金書櫃， 馬舒與泰咸於1806年為威爾斯親王喬治而製，傳隨查爾斯·希思科·泰咸之設計，置於倫敦卡爾頓公館

surmounted by four masks of Bacchus on a draped plinth with a statuary marble top, the frieze decorated with adorsed lyre motifs and anthemia over three glazed doors each enclosing a shelf, the projecting lower section with a marble shelf, the frieze with a central winged lion mount flanked by panther masks and facing lions, with a central pair of doors flanked by a further door to either side, each enclosing a shelf on a plinth base, the locks stamped 'I. BRAMAH', the upper section with the Windsor Castle 1866 inventory brand, ( fig.2) with a printed 1866 inventory label inscribed in ink '235' and 'N^o. 23', with a stencil 'R 235' and a canvas label stencilled '235',  the top of the base section beneath marble inscribed in ink, 'yew-tree cabinet N.5-5/ Windsor Castle/ Flavan' , (fig.3), the reverse with a further 1866 Windsor Castle inventory brand, and a painted label inscribed '235', the underside of a section of the marble with remains of a label inscribed 'H. Blairman', modifications and enrichments undertaken in 1827 by Morel and Seddon as outlined in the footnote

This supremely elegant bookcase is overall in good restored condition. The marble top to the upper section possibly later. There is minor wear to the gilded elements with signs of localised tarnishing to the gilt-bronze masks and mounts. The left hand mask incised 'Anno 25/8 39 / TH'. The mouldings have been regilt and there is a chip to the corner of the right hand moulding beneath the marble shelf of the lower section. The marble shelf to the lower section with old chips, marks and scratches commensurate with age. Some of the glass apparently replaced. Please see the catalogue note regarding the alterations to the bookcase that took place in 1827 upon its removal from Carlton House and installation in Windsor Castle.

這座典雅堂皇的攝政時期書櫃，原屬於威爾斯親王喬治（George, Prince of Wales）在倫敦的府邸卡爾頓公館（Carlton House）。此櫃是馬舒與泰咸（Messers Marsh and Tatham）為卡爾頓公館特別製作的四個書櫃之一，另外還有一件鑲象牙黑檀木圖書館家具，屬於公館內的主藏書室。這四個書櫃的原本設計與前述的黑檀木家具相似，一張署年1806年6月的發票有這樣的描述：

「四件典雅的紅豆杉木書櫃，鑲黑檀木，飾青銅古典頭像，富麗的鎏金裝飾，雕鏤黃銅飾工，厚板玻璃等…… £680英鎊 雕塑用的大理石檯面及壁架……£140.35英鎊 」

威爾斯親王喬治在1820年繼位成為喬治四世，他認為無論卡爾頓公館、正式皇室官邸聖詹姆斯宮或其父所居住的白金漢宮，都不能滿足他的需求。於是他下令重新翻修白金漢宮和溫莎堡。許多原屬於卡爾頓公館的家具都被搬到國王的新宮；其中此書櫃被搬到溫莎堡，並由馬爾伯勒大街的著名家具工坊尼可拉斯·莫熱爾與喬治·瑟東（Nicholas Morel and George Seddon）負責修繕。四個書櫃都經過不同的改動和修飾，以配合溫莎古堡內已翻新的房間風格。此書櫃與另一個現屬英國皇室珍寶的書櫃之翻新紀錄由莫熱爾與瑟東保存如下：

「徹底修理、清潔及擦亮一個設計優雅的大型紅豆杉木書櫃、鍍青銅、重修頭像、清理織物上的霉跡、給鎏金裝飾重新鍍金、重新磨亮大理石板、為櫃鎖配鑄一條新鑰匙（242號房，編號806）」
