Condition
Overall the condition of the marble is very good. There is dirt and some minor wear to the surface consistent with age including some dust and dryness in the crevices and a few minor traces of moisture that ran down the surface in the top right corner. The outline of the frame is visible along the edge. There are some faint naturally occurring veins and inclusions visible on the surface, including along Psyches shoulder, Cupids waist and his proper left thigh. Three larger naturally occurring inclusions were filled with plaster. There are a few minor chips to the edge of the relief. There are two small scratches to Psyches left breast.
