拍品資料及來源
As Kleiner pointed out, this remarkable snuff bottle is a porcelain copy of an agate bottle of the Suzhou Zhiting School (see Sale 1, lots 14, 25 , and 55; Sale 2, lots 31 and 78; Sale 3, lot 59; Sale 4, lots 5 and 101; Sale 6, lots 128 and 186; and Sale 7, lot 25.) The copy is so exacting that the carver’s own style is all but lost. There is no clue to his identity from the unglazed interior and the caramel-brown glaze, for neither of these was specific to any particular artist, although Wang Bingrong remains a possibility.
