Condition
Original canvas. There is paint loss visible in areas of the sky and the boats at the forefront and at left, though pigment does not appear to be actively flaking. A horizontal stretcher line imprint is visible across the top edge of the canvas. There is minor craquelure. Under UV there is some very minor pigment fluorescing in the boats at left, but this appears to be discoloured varnish. Held in a gold painted wood frame with plaster molding. Unexamined out of frame.
