Original canvas. There is a layer of surface dirt and there is minor craquelure throughout. UV light reveals minor retouchings to the sky in the upper right corner, and to the right edge just above the horizon, however a layer of opaque varnish prevents a more conclusive analysis. Held in wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
