Condition

Laid down. The paper has discoloured in places. There is an area of abrasion to the left of the sitter's face where there appear to be some losses that have been made up. The light brown staining/discolouration is slightly visible in her face and hair. The chalk and graphite remain strong and overall image is good. Sold in a circular gilded frame, as illustrated in the catalogue.
