"Lines became important to me, because of Kardinsky. Because of him we can imagine the evolution of lines transforming into fields and then into three-dimensional space. My own world of lines contains Op art elements. Raphael Soto's concepts also caught my attention. He wanted to turn something static into vibrations. Turn wind into form, for instance, by letting it strike strings so that they tremble."
