Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77069, stating that the ruby measuring approximately 9.10 x 10.90 x 5.40mm, weighing approximately 4.6 carats, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Ruby red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, and minor abrasions consistent with age; for further details on the stone, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal; the central jewel and shank appear to have been assembled together at a later date, converted from earlier jewels. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 5 grams.
