Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin is required before the import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Bracelet signed V.C.A., numbered N.Y. 41757. One ear clip signed Van Cleef & Arpels, the other numbered N.Y. 46085. Rubies purplish red to red, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, some cavities and abrasions visible under magnification. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 8.00 - 12.00 carats. Signs of normal wear to the metal; bracelet clasp is secure, safety pin; one ear clip with visible repair to the mounting of one ruby, currently slightly bent out of place. In overall good condition. Total gross weight approximately 113 grams.
