Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 78986, stating that the three pearls were found to be natural, saltwater, with no indications of artificial colour modification; for further details on the pearls, please refer to the SSEF report.
Stick pin: partial French maker's mark. Partial French assay mark for platinum. The oval slightly grey natural pearl measuring 9.24 x 9.27 x 12.34mm, with good skin and luster, and very minor blemishes visible under magnification; for further details on natural pearl, please refer to the SSEF report. Pin in very good condition with a detachable 'keeper' to keep from getting loose. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 4 grams.
Brooch: the button-shaped light grey natural pearl measuring 10.75 x 10.91 x 7.47mm, with aubergine overtones, with good skin and luster and some very minor pitting visible under magnification; for further details on natural pearl, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of very little wear to the metal. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 5 grams.
Shirt stud: stamped Cartier Paris, numbered 1141B. French assay mark for gold. The button-shaped slightly cream natural pearl measuring 9.34 x 9.49 x 9.22mm, with good skin and luster and one dimpled area; for further information on the pearl, please refer to the report. Signs of wear to the metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 2 grams.
