Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US; this piece may contain a ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Rubies estimated to weigh a total of approximately 13.00 - 15.00 carats (excluding synthetic ruby), well matched in colour, purplish red of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions, a few surface reaching, and minor abrasions. Synthetic ruby is the central oval ruby on the second plaque from the tongue end. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 12.00 - 14.00 carats, on average H - I colour, SI - I clarity, as gauged and grade in the mounting. Three diamonds deficient. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use. Clasp secure, safety catch, safety chain broken. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 63 grams.
