Condition
Clip: Maker's mark on metal between two culets of large diamonds. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and platinum. Central emerald stated to weigh 1.58 carat (in archives), smaller diamonds 0.35 carat, well matched in colour, few crystal inclusions, few scratches and abrasions on large emerald, chips on smaller ones. Total diamond weight stated as 4.94 carat for the five large diamonds and 2.87 carat for the smaller ones, G-I colour, VS-SI clarity, as graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 20 grams.
Necklace: Maker's mark on clasp. Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat white gold. Glass beads in good condition. Cultured pearls of slightly cream to cream body colour, good lustre. Central diamond estimated to weigh approximately 1.25 carat, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity, side diamonds of similar colour and clarity, as graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch below. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 40 grams.
