Condition
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 73561, stating that the pearl, weighing approximately 8.9 carat and measuring approximately 9.30 - 9.55 x 14.80 mm was found to be natural, saltwater. Due to the setting, the two half-pearls have not been tested.
Signed Lacloche Freres Paris on top of brooch, partial maker's park on pin, numbered 49653 on pin. Stamped with French assay mark for platinum. According to the SSEF report, the pearl is of slightly grey to light brownish grey body colour, for further information please refer to the report; half pearls with lavender overtones, all pearls of medium to good lustre, few blemishes. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.00 - 1.30 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 8 grams.
