Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information.
Engraved RP. 8.51, probably referring to the total weight of the rubies, B. 3.76, probably referring to the total weight of the round diamonds, B.B. 0.72, probably referring to the total weight of the two step-cut diamonds. Stamped with French assay marks and OR 750 for 18 carat yellow gold. Rubies well matched in colour, slightly purplish red, medium strong saturation, with typical crystal inclusions, few nicks and scratches, larger rubies with small cavities to the reverse. Diamonds on average G-H colour, VS-SI clarity. Signs of little wear to the metal, few scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 16 grams.
