In fair to good condition overall. Tarnishing throughout the metal mounting, front and back. Missing approximately 3 turquoises which is not visible when worn. The turquoises range in color from bright greenish blue to deep bluish green. The stone in the head is a medium deep pinkish purple and is eye clean. The calibré-cut rubies are medium pink-red and are moderately included, with heavily abraded facet junctions. The pearls are silver gray in color and have a waxy to good luster. Very flexible and comfortable to wear. The clasp has been modified at some point to attach at the serpent's throat instead of its mouth.
