Colour and Clarity: According to an old Gubelin report (with picture of original mounting), the ruby is of Burmese origin, with indications of heating. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the ruby is of intense red colour. Under 10x loupe, the ruby is generally clean with a few fingerprint inclusions, minute abrasions, not seen to naked eyes. The seed pearls are of cream to cream white colour, with yellowish to slight greenish overtones, minor surface blemishes, good lustre. The diamonds are of mixed colours, ranging from H to J colours, one small round diamond is light yellow colour, VS to SI clarity. Condition: Some tarnishing to the karat pink gold, otherwise, in good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
