Condition
Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece contains rubies of Burmese origin and therefore cannot be imported into the US. Please contact the jewellery department for further information or see our Important Notices.
Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77127, stating that the ruby weighing approximately 11 ct, measuring approximately 12.25 x 11.05 x 8.15 mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating.
Italian maker's mark. Stamped titanium. The ruby, stated to weigh 12.37 carats, is of medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions including visible 'silk', some inclusions surface reaching, some nicks and abrasions visible under magnification. Diamond bright and lively, estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats, bright and lively. Titanium mounting tinted pink. Signs of little wear to the mounting. Gross weight approximately 4 grams.
