Condition
Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 54831 and CS 54830, stating that the sapphires weighing 9.78 and 10.28 carats, measuring 13.78 x 10.67 x 7.91 and 13.89 x 10.70 x 8.07 mm, are of Ceylon origin, with evidence of heat treatment.
Both ear clips with maker's marks, both numbered 706267. Stamped PLAT. for platinum and 18 K for 18 carat gold. Sapphires very well matched in colour, of medium strong saturation, clean to the naked eye, a few inclusions visible under 10x magnification, a few nicks and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 2.50 - 3.00 carats, on average G-H colour and VS clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 18 grams.
