Condition
Manual winding movement running, minute repeating, perpetual calendar functions in working condition. Minute repeating sound is crisp and well-paced. Dial is nice and clean. Case with minor scuffs from normal use. Overall appears in very good condition.
Please note the movement has not been tested for accuracy of time keeping and a service might be required at buyer's expense.

百達翡麗於1989年推出961型號複雜功能時計，搭載近代懷錶中最為精密之一的機芯。此錶融合機械精確性及複雜性，被視為鐘錶界的藝術品。因零件數目龐大而構成的機械複雜性與時計精確性兩者一向難以並存，只有極少數具優秀技巧和天份的製錶師能夠將三問及萬年曆成功組合，並同時保持時計的絕佳精確性。
百達翡麗早於1840年便製造了首枚備複雜功能的計時懷錶，距離961型號懷錶的發行時間長達150年。縱觀百達翡麗製錶歷史，備Earnshaw游絲棘爪擒縱機構的功能時計一向因製作成本高昂而極為罕有。此系統由Thomas Earnshaw (1749 - 1829)於1780年代中期研發。游絲棘爪在弧形中以單一方向方式為擺輪提供動力，優點在於其齒輪不需潤滑劑。自19世紀開始，此系統常被用作航海時計用途，直至石英機芯出現才停產。
961型號懷錶產量極少，據了解，僅有3枚曾於公開市場出現。
