The movement is running at the time of cataloguing and the chronograph function appears operational. Dial in very good condition. Case in good condition with slight scuffs to the bracelet, visible hallmark to the base back.

This fine example of the reference 6265 features a very rare dial layout which displays an increased gap between the text below the Oyster signature and an oversized Cosmograph inscription. Such dials are also known for their colour change registers that turn to a chocolate brown colour over the years. In addition to the exceptional dial, this model is also particularly rare in gold. During the 20 years of the production of the references 6263 and 6265 approximately 24’000 pieces were made in stainless steel and less than 10% in gold.
