The enamel is beautifully preserved with one small hairline below the thermometer. The mechanism needs a revision. Overall this is a very rare example of early Cartier production because of its great condition and the fact that it is complete in its original presentation case.

This very rare car dashboard timepiece was produced by Cartier in 1907, most probably by their London workshop. It is one of the first pieces of horology ever produced by Cartier. A similar piece can be found in the Cartier historical collection.
