The launch of the reference 16520 in 1988 saw some fundamental changes to the dial display and bezel graduations of the Daytona model. The present watch from 1989 is a rare example due to the four line writing which does not mention ‘Officially Certified’ and bezel calibrated for 400 units. These features are believed to have appeared on the model for only one year of its production.
