The cup is in overall good condition. The foot has a body line of approx. 1 cm and a few minor kiln grits. The enamel has some typical bubbling, but it has been generally well preserved with only very minor losses.

此鬪彩雲蝠盃，巧妙運用之深淺三色之綠彩及不透明藍彩，有別於一般鬪彩器，尤為珍貴。歐洲進口之釉上藍彩首見於康熙年間，直至雍正六年始能自力調配釉方，然釉上藍彩多施用於五彩器及琺瑯彩瓷，鬪彩尚以釉下青花為多，少見施用釉上藍彩者。傳統鬪彩色調，可參考一件雍正祥雲賞瓶，售於香港蘇富比2010年4月8日，編號1862。

Alsdorf 伉儷珍藏一對近類瓷盃，1971年5月18日售於倫敦蘇富比，編號235；1993年3月23日再度售於紐約佳士得，編號749；後於1999年4月27日，由香港蘇富比售出，編號433。另一對作例則於2000年9月21日售於紐約佳士得，編號359。尺寸稍大之盌則較為常見，可參考南京博物院藏一例，刊錄於《中國清代官窰瓷器》，上海，2003年，頁165。白納德伉儷收藏之一對鬪彩盌，可作參考，曾於1988年11月15日售於香港蘇富比，編號1，後在1990年3月20日售於香港佳士得，編號656。另一對類同盌器，則二度售於香港蘇富比，分別為2001年10月29日，編號511，及2005年5月2日，編號602。

蝙蝠祥雲紋飾，意喻「鴻福齊天」之讚賀，「雲」音類「運」，並為造雨之源，屬祥瑞之意。吉祥彩雲，常作靈芝雲頭造形，取自同為靈芝形之「如意」，寓意所願如意。
