Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the yellow diamonds are of intense to vivid saturation, colourless diamonds are about F to G colours, all about VS clarity. Two emeralds are of medium bright bluish green colour, eye clean and lively. All onyxes are precisely cut to fit, very good condition. Signed Cartier and numbered to the back. Condition: Karat yellow gold mount, signs of normal wear and minor tarnishing to the metal which is not noticeable, overall in very good condition.

雄偉優雅的「大貓」

老虎自古以來被冠以百獸之皇的稱號，一舉一動都散發著威猛強悍的魅力，引來人類各種的想像和迷思。無論在古代神話和民間傳說，又或者在當代藝術和文學作品中，老虎都扮演著重要的角色，令人為之著迷。此造型多變的動物在兒童故事和電影中亦激起了無窮的幻想，如加拿大作家楊·馬泰爾所著的《少年Pi的奇幻漂流》；名畫家張善子筆下的老虎則著眼於其強壯的身軀及獨特的黑色斑紋；而在珠寶設計方面，最能描繪老虎優雅動態及神髓的莫過於高級珠寶商卡地亞的「Great Cat﹙大貓﹚珠寶」系列。
