題跋：西空老人嗜寫竹，畫如其人曰灑落。蹊徑相踵文與梅，萬卷婆娑破茅屋。事親餘暇一濡毫，元氣噴薄出厓谷。展卷心胷豁然開，似聽清風戛寒玉。詩隨興到志古驩，寧復自料附塵俗。
明朱白民先生性至孝，博學能文。尤嗜畫竹，然流傳極希。是卷得於扈市，筆力高渾，意趣蕭疏，直令人百讀不厭。是可寶也。癸酉（1933）仲夏，白龍山人。鈐印：王震大利、一亭、海雲廔
