No artist by the name Chen Xin appears to be recorded, but a white jade snuff bottle with a similar amber inclusion used to enhance the design is illustrated in Hugh Moss, Victor Graham, Ka Bo Tsang, A Treasury of Chinese Snuff Bottles, The Mary and George Bloch Collection, vol. 1, Jade, Hong Kong, 1995, no. 117.
