of pear shape, finely carved in low relief with the design of archaistic chilong surrounding a shou character with stylized fleur de lis, the stone of an even white color 

Condition

The stopper is adhered to the bottle. There is one minute chip on each side of the bottle. The foot with some minute nicks, with remnants of glue on the base.

A bottle of similar shape and almost identical decoration is illustrated in The Imperial Connection, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, 1998, no. 64, where it is noted that the Qianlong emperor had a special liking for  Western designs and ordered their incorporation into imperial wares.
