supported on a short foot ring, the sides rising from a broad base to the gently flaring hexalobed rim, carved on the interior with a lotus blossom, covered overall with a creamy-white glaze, the rim of the bowl and the footrim unglazed
Condition
There is restored crack that begins1 in. (2.5 cm) below the rim, travels towards the base, cuts across the base, goes up the side and stops 1 in (2.5 cm) below the rim, approx. 6 1/4 in. (15.8 cm) in length. There is a small patch of discoloration to one side of the center.
