The x-ray images reveal that there is a vertical hairline crack on one side near the handle approx. 4 in. (10 cm) long, as well as another very fine hairline crack approx. 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) on the belly. There are few hairline cracks on the handles; otherwise the piece is in overall good condition.
